Welcome Back Picnic
August 28th 5:30-7:00 (tentative date)
This fun community event is a great way to introduce your 6th grader to their new school as well as to get your 7th and 8th graders back in the swing of things! Please bring a dish to pass!
Boynton Book fair
will be held in the school library in September. We'll be open during curriculum night to give families an opportunity to stop by and support the Boynton library either by buying a book for the library or classroom, or simply by buying a book for your student--all proceeds benefit the library and reading at Boynton. Want to get involved? We'd love to have volunteers to help during the fair. 90 minute shifts will be sent out via signup genius soon, but feel free to get in touch with our book fair chairperson (and 7th grade parent), Aoise, directly: aoise@hotmail.com.

School Dances
The PTA plans and organizes a couple of dances during the year and helps support the teacher chaperones. Volunteers help staff the refreshment and admission tables, serving pizza, baked goods & cotton candy. We will also need donated baked goods to sell. Stay tuned for dates to be announced
Staff appreciation Luncheon
In mid June, the PTA sponsors a luncheon at the school as a way to say thank you to all the teachers and staff that make Boynton Middle school such an amazing place!

Grants for education enhancement
The PTA offers financial support for field trips and special events for all three grades throughout the year. In addition, The Boynton PTA offers special grants to teachers and staff through out the year to help fund special projects and creative ideas!
8th Grade Graduation
After the moving up ceremony at the high school, 8th graders walk back to Boynton for a special graduation dance open only to them. Coordinators recruit parent/guardian volunteers to make, bake & donate food & drink items for the dance.
